Tartarus is known for its extreme difficulty and has remained the hardest level verified on 240Hz or a refresh rate below 360FPS for over two years and ten months. It was initially a secret project and was said to have been in the works before Bloodbath and during the time when ICE Carbon Diablo X was considered the hardest level in the game.
